Adam Joseph Copeland
On October 30, 1973, Adam Joseph Copeland entered this world in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. When he was signed to WWE, he took the name Edge and became a household figure among wrestling fans. As a young man, he idolised wrestlers like Curt Henning, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and Bret “Hit Man” Hart and hoped to follow in their footsteps. First, he learned the ropes from Ron Hutchinson and Sweet Daddy Siki, two veterans of the industry.
Benefit Your Profession
He began wrestling professionally in the 1990s, largely for indie promoters in North America. These contained both singles and tag team contests, the latter of which featured Edge and his fictitious sister Christian. In 1997, he signed a developmental contract with the WWF and debuted for the organisation later that year. His first TV appearance under his ring name, Edge, was in June of the following year. Two years later, during a house show in Toronto, Ontario, he finally won the WWF Intercontinental Championship and began his first title reign with the promotion.
Edge and Christian won
Edge and Christian won the WWF tag team championship a record seven times. Egde has spent his time in WWE winning a total of 31 championships. Of these, 11 are world championships, 5 are Intercontinental titles, 14 are tag team titles, and 1 is the United States Championship. In addition to his Mr. Money in the Bank titles, Edge won the King of the Ring competition in 2001, as well as the first two Mr. Money in the Bank matches in 2005 and 2007.
Copeland is now one of only three guys in WWE history to have held all of the active belts (together with Kurt Angle and Big Show). Other than wrestling, he has appeared in films including WWE Studios’ Bending the Rules (2000) and the fantasy film Highlander: Endgame (2000), and on television shows like The Weakest Link, Mind of Mencia, Deal or No Deal, Haven, and MADtv. Copeland, best known by his ring name, Edge, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in March of 2012.

Linkages at the Periphery
Following Lita’s betrayal of Kane and Edge’s subsequent defeat of the Red Monster, the two became fast friends. Lita and Kane’s divorce was a big controversy when it was aired on WWE. It was revealed on Raw on June 20 that Kane had intervened to prevent the wedding between Lita and Edge. Previously, Lita served as Edge’s valet before becoming his manager. After Edge’s victory against Cena on the previous week’s Raw, the two men made a pact to celebrate with “hot, uncontrolled sex” the next week. If you ask Ric Flair about Edge, he’ll say he’s a disgrace again. Lita and Edge were defeated by Cena and Maria, who were working as a tag team. She oversaw Edge’s business operations. Due to Lita’s retirement, she and Edge broke up.
