Reviewers and audiences have responded positively to the show since its premiere in August because of its grounded and humorous take on the value of family.
In This Fool, we tag along as Julio goes about his unassuming but meaningful life in South Central Los Angeles’ working class. He stays at home with his mom and tries to reconnect with his high school sweetheart just to keep from dealing with his problems. But when it comes to helping others, he’s right in the middle of it: he works with the organisation Hugs Not Thugs, which helps ex-convicts from criminal gangs adjust to life outside of prison. One of the ex-convicts that Julio meets in the programme turns out to be none other than his older cousin Luis (Frankie Quiones), who moves in with Julio’s family and continually buts heads with him, adding another layer of confusion and amusement to the situation.
On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the first season was given a perfect 100% by critics, and an average of 91% by viewers who had seen all 10 episodes.
When Will Season 2 of This Fool Premiere?
Season one premiered on Hulu on August 12, 2022, and it will most likely continue broadcasting on the service on the same day and time each week: midnight PT/3:00 am ET. As mentioned up top, Hulu has not said when the show will debut or when it will air. The next season can be released around the same time as the previous one if the network maintains a consistent schedule.
