The Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect star wrote that her daughter Royce Lilly was a “beautiful miracle” in her first Instagram post about her. She even thanked her “wonderful” surrogate.
“I can’t really explain the love I feel for her,” the 42-year-old man added. “She’s a fantastic miracle!”
It’s been a long time coming, and I’ll be forever grateful to everyone who played a part in this (you know who you are), but I’d like to give special thanks to my amazing surrogate for carrying and delivering her with such grace and care.
She said, “What a beautiful gift you have given me by allowing me to have my own family. I can’t think of a better present than this!
Wilson also posted a number of pictures from her baby shower, including ones of her surrounded by balloons, decorations, and friends, to her Instagram story.
She continued by saying she had “huge respect to all the parents out there” and was “learning swiftly” about becoming a mother.
I was the classic example of a driven career woman who puts off thinking about starting a family until she’s well into her 30s. In that case, what action do you recommend?
Having children would be lovely, but I don’t know if it will ever happen to me.
