Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
When Ryan Reynolds announced that Hugh Jackman would reprise his role as Wolverine in the sequel to Deadpool, the internet went into frenzy.

The Canadian actor has been very vocal about his wish to co-star with his foul-mouthed mercenary and the adamantium-clawed anti-hero.
Before Deadpool 2, there were Wolverine references in other movies, and Hugh Jackman even made a cameo appearance after the credits rolled.
And in a 90-second reveal, Reynolds verified what many had hoped for.
Less than 24 hours after the video’s release, it had racked up over 25 million views, a million likes, and hundreds of thousands of responses, many of them expressing elation at the news.
Hard to keep my mouth stitched shut about this one,” he wrote beside the tweet announcing Deadpool’s return to the big screen after his debut in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.

On a couch, he expresses his aim to give Deadpool’s first MCU debut a “feel special” vibe in the clip.
Over a montage of him going about his day, he explains how he’s been trying to find inspiration.
He likes to go for hikes in the woods and, in a sly gesture to the football team he co-owns, he’ll even work out while wearing a baseball cap with the Wrexham AFC logo on it.

And I want Wrexham to be the first club in space, Reynolds said.
Deadpool and Dion are killing it on the internet.
The scene then returns to Reynolds sitting on the couch as Jackman enters frame.
Hugh, replies Reynolds, “want to play Wolverine again?”
Yeah, absolutely, Ryan,” Jackman says in response.
Next, we see a title card reading “Coming Hughn,” followed by the fading in of the Deadpool logo and the superimposition of Wolverine’s iconic claw marks.
Later, Reynolds produced a second video in which he and Jackman sat on the same sofa and promised to respond to more questions from their respective fan bases.
A slightly profane, tongue-in-cheek response is provided by the two, but in typical Deadpool fashion, the speech is mostly drowned out by a peppy 80s pop classic.
Jackman has starred in many films as the mutant with healing abilities Wolverine. His debut portrayal of the character was in 2000’s X-Men.
It was widely expected that his latest movie performance, 2017’s Logan, would be his last in the part.
